Nearly all recent smartphones, such as the BlackBerry Storm or T-Mobile G1, offer some type of dedicated Facebook application. Some phone models, like the Apple iPhone with its comprehensive Facebook app, manage this integration with the social-networking website better than others; but nearly all offer some type of limited social network access. Now 3 Mobile wants to change Facebook access from being a high-end feature reserved for smartphones, and make it something as easy to use and universal as text messaging, with its upcoming INQ1 Facebook phone.

The 3 Mobile INQ1 is unique in that it is really a rather ordinary slider phone, except, of course, for how much it is entirely integrated with Facebook. The manufacturers contend it will completely change the way you use Facebook on a mobile, and they have actually been working closely with the Facebook people to make this possible. Expect to be able to easily use Facebook chat, message, manage friends, and maybe even tag photos.

The phone also includes all the features of 3 Mobile’s recent Skype dedicated phone, as well as email, regular instant messaging, YouTube and other similar features. The INQ1 social networking phone will make mobile Facebook available to the masses for a low cost when it is released on November 13th.
